Sorry for the long hiatus. I’m been very busy with everything. Senior year so I’m def trying to keep on track. But I will do my best in keeping up with my blog post. I really would like to do more. Honestly I’ve just been lazy, I’ve been distracting myself with a lot of nonsense. But its ok. I’m back. So what’s new Hmmmmmmm lets see. Ah so I’ve decided to really dedicate myself. To my script that I’ve been trying to write. All this time I’ve been trying to figure out what i need to do, and its been here right in front of me this whole time. I’ve been ignoring it but that i can no longer do. Hopefully soon I will be able to share a sample of what I’m talking about.
Ps: Have you been watching the news. I dont know what the world is coming to

Just A Thought
This was a little piece I wrote while over in Africa. Nothing major, I believe I was in my room one day writing in the journal we had to keep and just me thinking as usual I began to write.
So in the states we only care about self. Until we can come together and put differences aside we will never rise. When we entered the country we were welcomed with open arms. Now if the roles were reversed I don’t think we (Americans) would have felt the same way about having citizens from another country enter our place of freedom and embrace them like we were embraced. There are a lot of things that need to be fixed. I hope... No I believe one day we change our way of thinking, thoughts, beliefs and come together because we need something before its to late. We all need Inner Peace

First Monologue...
So Iam proud to say that I have written my first ever monologue. Soon we will be recording ourselves and hopfully ill be able to post it. But here it is.
Dream On and Inner Peace is the motto I follow. I abide by those mottos because the path I was on became dark and hollow. And I would tell people my dreams and they would give me negative feedback. They would say B your dreams are whack. So i sat back searching deep for that inner peace, looking for the question and the answer that was buried inside of me. I couldnt find the answer until one day I let go. Thats when I found my glow and realized my journey began to unfold. My story is unheard of, My story should be told, Im still reaching for my dreams, until they become solid as gold. Im yelling DREAM ON to my fellow dreamers. Listen to your heart and turn the dream killers into believers. This is the story of B getting out my dreams

Hearts and Mind Film
What a way to start of my week. So this was my first day of the Hearts and Mind Film program. I feel lucky to actually be in this program. This is just a start to what I want to do. We have already met someone who is influential in the film industry, Mike Lemon. What a awesome person. Just hearing his story and what he believes in was very inspiring to me. And he kind of answered a lot of things that I have been wondering about. He talked about how things just happen for him and he didn’t ask why he just went with it and little did he know it turned out to be something great. Like a blessing in disguise. I believe more great things are to come and im ready to embrace it all. They are running a great program over there for us. And none of this would be possible without Mrs. Baker, Thanks Mrs. B we all really appreciate you and what you are doing for us….. So with everything that I learned today im still sticking with DREAM ONNNNNNNN and keeping that INNER PEACE.

The One
Best/Favorite movie of all time
Manifesting your dreams
For the past year I've become a pure believer in following your dreams or even just believe in your dreams. WE all know the cliché follow your dreams and it will happen. That is true for some but not for many. Sometimes I think what if the people that are living out their dreams never got the chance to even get close to there dreams, would they still feel the same way or would it be a different story. I say that to say this, Dreams are powerful to me. I have dreams of becoming something. I just don’t know what it is yet. I can honestly say a few years back I didn’t feel like this but something has come over me and now all I do is dream about my future. I can feel something near. I know it. And if im wrong then im wrong, I'll still be happy with however my cards are dealt. As a matter of fact I dream that I will be able to get my story heard one day. Who knows maybe it will even get picked up and a movie, or a book comes. I dream that I could be the one who could change things... whatever that maybe. I just dream a lot and I dream big. I was a shy dude and still am. But my dreams are to big for me to lay in the back. So if you dream whether its small or big, Dream about it and dream about it everyday. Keep that faith that one day you will be living out your dreams... This might be the story of B...Getting out my dreams... So keep that INNER PEACE... In the words of one of my favorite artist "DREAM ONNNNNNNNN"

Content
It has been a adventure that i would have never thought I would have experienced ever. I’ve see so many things and met so many great people in the past few weeks. Sadly my time here is coming to a end, and this chapter will close for now. But when i get the chance I will open it back up and begin to explore some more. I cant lie I do miss the states and some of my family and friends. But honestly I could really see myself just living out here. The living is easy and not demanding at all. Just need to brush up on my language and I got it. I’ve been able to think clearly, and not be congested with all of this negative thoughts. I’ve been able to keep that "Inner Peace" within myself. I just hope when I go back home ill be able to maintain that. So if there comes a time when i feel like I’m losing it, I'll just think back to the time I was in Africa, that should work.
But on a lighter note. I do have more pic and vids... but the internet is a little washy. It works when it wants. I have a lot of clips that I think you guys would enjoy and i cant wait to post them for you. So ill probably do that when I get back in the states. But today we go camel riding. Never been on a camel before. So we will see how this goes. Wish us Luck

The countdown begins
Well my journey is slowly but shortly coming to a end. But it's not over yet, I feel like I still haven't found something yet. I can't put my finger on it yet. I know I'm close to it. But I will say this, what a wonderful and inspiring journey this has been. You can watch tv and think you know but until you indulge yourself in anothers culture, you still have no clue. If you get a chance to go anywhere... TAKE IT. My ignorance almost let me pass up on this experience. But I'm glad my simba talked some sense into me.
Well today we are attending a ceremony for the students that are graduating today. But we have to put on a performance. They are really excited for us to perform. I was to until I took a look in my bag an realized my camera was dead. I'm pretty sure someoe will have pics. Well until next time... INNER PEACE

New city... New people... New atomsphere
Finally I'm back and I'll be able to upload many pics from senegal and videos. I'm actually blogging from my iPod touch right now... Thanks technology you are simply amazing. But we have arrived in Mauritania, and it's more so a Muslim country. It's very different fron Senegal, which is a more fast pace city. And here it more slow. My professor gave me a new word to use the, people of Mauritania are Nomatic. I believe I spelled that right if not I'll fix it. But basically they are very laid back. That sounds like myself, so I should fit right in. Well it's 4:41am back home as I'm blogging now and 8:41am here. So now getting ready for class. Check back soon

Reality Check
OK so this is day two in Africa/Senegal, and I must say that this has to be one of the best summers so far. I mean its just a eye opener not even for African Americans that have not been to Africa but for any race. And I also think that everyone should come here at least once. Its just my thought but I feel like people have misconception that most Africans are dirty and live in the slums and can not take care of themselves. My professor made a excellent point, people think this and that until they come over and take a look for themselves.. They live just like us, everyone has a struggle but we all find means to get by. Another thing that bothers me is that, People seem to associate AIDS with Africa. WHY?….. When Aids is everywhere… The person you work with could have AIDS. it’s the silent killer. We just need to stop being so judgmental and understand.

How Much More
So I just got off the phone with my boy, and he calls to talk about Drake. Im not a Drake hater but I just don’t listen to him. So he was trying to explain how Drake is way more talented because he did a song with Alica Keys and how it went number one... He performed his song on the Grammy’s. And how Kanye, Jayz, Wayne would prefer Drake over Lupe and Cudi (Which he or I can speak for them) But my thing is that doesn’t make him more talented than any other. So once again I had to defend how that has nothing to do with music... I could care less who has a song with who, who performed on a big stage... I listen to a artist because they make music I can relate to, or it touches my soul. If a artist can do that.. then to me he or she is talented. I don’t know sometimes people just ride a bandwagon... Much respect to Drake never met him so I cant say anything bad... But if he falls off, which I hope that doesn’t happen. But where will his so called fans be at.

Its all Politricks
Now Im no REVOLOTUINARY, but if there was a revolution starting I would probably join. Give it all up to defend and fight for what is RIGHT. Im not into POLITICS., POLITICS=POLITRICKS And we all know its all POLITICS and BULLISH... I couldn’t even tell you when I started this thing about being against politics and the “G”(Hopefully you know what the “G” is) A artist once said "Everyone knows how the “G” do, they never tell on themselves but they want you to tell on you". It seems the “G” can never be at fault for anything that goes on in this world. They have a back up plan , for a back up plan, for a back up plan. They are really on it. Im not really a CONSPIRACY theorist, even though a couple of things have raised my eyebrows just a bit. Its like we know what’s going on but yet little can be done about it. When I was younger I thought the PRESIDENT ruled everything. And boy was I sadly mistaken. He doesn’t even control the economy...SMH. I’ve grown to believe that mostly everything they say are lies. Now dont get me wrong there are some good things about them but for the most part... NOTHING. Is it corrupt... I rather not say my thoughts, but from reading this you can already guess. When the pledge is being said I dont even put my hand over my heart. I stand out of RESPECT. The US is a great country to live in, and I rather be here than most countries but boy sometimes this place can just make you want to take the next flight out.... Anyway enough about this... MY world is becoming to gloomy with these blogs about “G” and everything else... So next time ill lighten things up a bit.... KEEP THAT INNER PEACE.

Big Brother
Shout out to my Simba for this one... Check it out, they have eyes everywhere. They really do have us under surveillance and its really nothing we can do about it. Im even talking about myself. Everything is all over the internet. We think just because a site says our stuff is safe its not. People have access to these types of things. And it makes me want to stay off the web less. SMH...But its to late now

Something to think about
Sorry, I’ve still been busy with a lot of projects that I’m working on, So I haven’t been able to give you guys a daily dose of my thoughts and other such things. But awhile ago somebody had made a very very very interesting point to me, they said "When we hit thirty it might be hard to find a lady that doesn’t have a child" That was a powerful thing he said to me. Even though it may sound farfetched but I mean you would think that it could be true. Females are popping out babies left and right. So does this mean for us guys that don’t have kids, will we have to start a family with a female that has a child or two. I’m pretty sure there are some guys out there that would like to start a family with a woman who has no kids. Food for thought. Its crazy out here. Will there be any females left who do not have any children. Is making babies the new trend. I don’t know anything about raising a child, but it sure doesn’t look easy.

Open Your Eyes.
In most of my blogs, i always say open your eyes. And well i got it from a underground artist Immortal Technique. I wouldnt say he is a political rapper. I dont think there is a such thing. But most of what he speaks on is the government, and things that you wouldnt here most artsit today speak about. And on his latest Album "3rd World" He has this message. Well Here it is....
We've arrived from every corner of the planet to this nation to seek the fulfillment of a promise of America. We were promised a better life in our home countries, where we were told that privatizing, war and electricity would make things run more efficiently. Instead, the quality remained almost the same and the price was increased until it became an unaffordable luxury.
Some corporations are more efficient than government, but their motivation is not to help the well-being of the people; it's only about profit. Everything else - their image, their human resources, their public relations - only exist to protect the reality behind them.
Once upon a time, we were told that nationalization would prevent growth by limiting competition, that our countries were nothing without the companies that invested in us, and so they privatized everything. Everything in our country was owned by people that had no connection to our culture, by those who never had our interest at heart. They didn't care about our survival or our well-being, they just wanted to turn a profit by raping the land, by exploiting our people, our industry, and our resources. They took everything we built and made it theirs, first by creating racism and justified slavery, building the capital for capitalism; and then, when they gave us what they called "liberty", everything we had was still owned by them.
Our governments told us that socialism was the real enemy, and that we would have freedom, but the foreign cowards and corporations were the ones with the real freedom: the freedom to take all the wealth generated by our work and our land and give us only a small percentage of the scraps from the table. Their lust for power and their greed told them to betray not only us, but themselves and the word of their own god.
And while some used missionaries and donations to offset this abuse, other countries and companies were blatant with their crimes, using war, disease, and sanctions that killed millions. They supported corrupt governments that were almost like the old slave masters in their oppression of the people, because their loyalty was to those that enabled them, installed them, and kept them in power. They became the bastard children of American industry: kleptocracies, governments of thievery. They protected the corporations and went to war against their own people to preserve those profits. The puppet rulers were given billions of US tax dollars to fund civil wars; right wing death squads execute political dissidents, sympathetic clergy, and even overthrow democratically elected governments.
And so the age of revolution began again.
They painted it as godless terrorists versus the free world and the free market, but the free market has never been free, because the market does not regulate itself. It is manipulated like a puppet, and it survives because of its image. Destroy the image and the enemy will die.
Such as the same in the rap industry, for the major label superpowers treat the underground like the third world: when they need new assets, new artists to prostitute or side and put on the shelf to use their songs, when they needed new concepts, music and publishing to steal from producers, they came to the underground, to the third world. They took our culture, our property and our industry, and our resources, even using our own people to help them exploit us. But behind the mask of efficiency they claim we need to succeed, they're no better than us. Their economic advertisement was always a lie. A few got rich, but most were given an illusion of wealth, almost as if it was designed for failure; opportunity comes at the price of the soul and the music.
So remember what they are underneath the fancy architecture, glittering rented jewelry, the cause, the IMF loans, the seeds with suicide jeans, twenty year contracts and oil blood money. Build your defenses, my independent brothers and sisters. They'll stop at nothing to get what they want. They paint the third world underground as savage and backward, but the superpowers are no less corrupt, they've just learned to disguise it better. Because they fix elections too; they embezzle tax money; they go to war for resources; they fund terrorism for their own benefit; and when there's enough at stake, history's taught us that they'll even assassinate their own presidents! -Immortal Technique

Up and at'em
I hope everyone had a safe weekend. I know a lot of graduation get together and parties were this weekend. Actually let me give a shout out to the class of 2010. My high-school just had their graduation this saturday. Things are about to change for you guys in the next 2 years. Anyway... Today is monday, Im glad that I was awaken to see another day. So today is about progression. If you have something that needs to get done and you've been putting it off, lets not do that anymore and get it done. Nothing is worse than dragging something on that could have been done already. I see it as this...The quicker it gets done, more freedom you have. So lets get moving and start the day right. I will return with some more post later. I have some work to get done myself. Keep that "INNER PEACE"

Money Make Whos World Go Round

Money money money. My Girl is my money. Money Money Money, She say without her i cant get rich. Or how about this one For the love of money. So what would we do without money? Would the world be better if money didn’t control everything that we do. You cant do anything without it. Nothing in this world is free. Except the samples they give you in the mall to try a piece of their food. Which by the way is always good. We can thank Chik Fila and the pick 3 items for $5.99 at the Chinese spot in your local mall. Now the thing about money is, our dollar is decreasing... its becoming worthless and many have yet to realize this. Like I said in a previous blog... "Open Your Eyes",Do the research its right in front of YOU...But Ill save that for another time. Back to money. For some, money rules there world. It makes people crazy and some will even do crazy things for it. I have to much pride to sell myself short for a dollar, let alone any amount. And if you look on the Idiot Box aka TV, you see people doing the strangest things just for a few bucks. Doing anything and everything with no regard for their families.
I mean there is so much money in the world especially the US that no one should be poor or without jobs, Unless they just aren’t doing anything for themselves then that’s a different story. Nobody should be getting laid off. Hmmm I think I’ll save this one for a rainy day as well.
But back to my point. Money shouldn’t make the world go around. Now don’t get me wrong I like having money... I don’t LOVE money... I like it. It can get you some nice things. And pretty much in this economy you really need it to stay afloat. Remember money isn’t everything. When you die you cant take it with you... Sorry to sound so blunt about it... But just think about it and ask yourself what’s your relationship with money. Does it control you, and just be real with yourself.

If I Ruled The World Imagine That

According to Lauryn Hill aka L Boogie she would free all her sons. And Nas said he open every cell in Attica send em to Africa... But if I ruled the world I would get the government in check real talk... I would just be real with all the political leaders across the world and have a one on one with them all... And just be straight up… Lets cut all the BS out and get the world right... So if you ruled the world what would you do?
